1-Step Paint Correction & 10-Year Ceramic Coating

We inspected the Corvette’s paint and found light to moderate swirl marks and minor surface scratches. A one-step paint correction was enough to improve the finish without removing more clear coat than needed. Using a dual-action polisher and a medium-cut compound, we reduced those imperfections and brought back the paint’s clarity and gloss.

After polishing, we wiped down the paint with an isopropyl alcohol solution to remove leftover polishing oils and residue. We paid close attention to the Corvette’s curves and tight areas so the surface was clean and ready for coating. We then applied a 10-year ceramic coating one panel at a time, allowing it to flash before leveling off the excess. The application was completed in controlled conditions, with time allowed for the coating to cure before the car was exposed to the elements.

The difference was easy to see in the Corvette. With the swirl marks removed, the finish looked clearer and glossier.

The benefits go beyond the shine. The 10-year ceramic coating helps water bead and roll off, makes dirt easier to wash away, and adds protection against sun exposure and everyday contaminants. Regular washing and proper maintenance will help keep the Corvette’s finish looking its best for years to come.
